Hi! I'm Dr. Irene Summers Temple, but you can call me Irene. My pronouns are she/her/hers. I am a counseling psychologist licensed in Colorado and South Dakota. Although I hail from the suburbs of Chicago, I have lived all over the country and the world.
After teaching and providing therapy for college and university students for 8 years, I chose to start a private practice where I can serve the people I love to work with therapists-in-training, therapists, educators, and health professionals.
I practice multicultural counseling and I value the individual experiences of others. Your story, your identity, and how you understand your experiences is what matters most to me. Developing a trusting therapeutic relationship based on nonjudgement, honest communication, and clear boundaries is central to my approach to therapy.
